This track is part of the 12th volume of the "Transmission" compilation series released by Canadian label Imaginary North. The compilation includes thriteen tracks, mastered by Chad Skinner and with an artwork designed by Mitch Burke. "I keep on forgetting to breathe" is an introspective track about hopelessness and the difficulty of finding peace and comfort in today's society. In this intimate piece, Ryefield Society delves into the darker side of ambient music, where minimal guitar and piano notes are immersed in a lo-fi atmosphere.
